Night Warehouseman Basic Function: The Warehouseman is responsible for product storage and rotation within the warehouse, the loading of the route trucks, check-in the return loads from the route trucks, securing the warehouse at the end of the loading process, and assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean warehouse. Work Performed: Delivery Truck Loading: \xc2\xb7 Prior to starting the loading process review the total quantity and discuss and space concerns with the Warehouse Manager. \xc2\xb7 Start pulling product and loading trucks as soon as the load sheets are available. \xc2\xb7 Pull product and build each load directly from the load sheets. \xc2\xb7 Shrink wrap each completed pallet. \xc2\xb7 Have the manager verify each package count of each pallet. \xc2\xb7 Load the product properly to prevent damage to the product and the truck. \xc2\xb7 Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in the salable condition. \xc2\xb7 Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first. \xc2\xb7 Mark each pallet with the driver\'s name and pre-stage pallets properly. \xc2\xb7 Complete the load-out section of the Delivery Route Summary and attach it to the load sheets. Inventory Control: \xc2\xb7 Daily repair all damaged packages and return them to stock prior to truck loading. \xc2\xb7 As assigned check out the Delivery Drivers each morning. \xc2\xb7 Verify the loads made up by the other warehouse employees when requested. \xc2\xb7 Ensure all possible steps are taken to prevent the loss of product through the pilferage, damage or aging. Maintenance: \xc2\xb7 Bring to the attentive of the Warehouse Manager required equipment repairs. \xc2\xb7 Daily check forklifts to ensure proper fluid levels, charging, and maintenance. \xc2\xb7 Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Security: \xc2\xb7 Secure the warehouse by having all doors locked at the end of the shift and keeping unauthorized parties out during working hours. \xc2\xb7 Take all possible steps necessary to prevent the loss of product by pilferage, damage or aging. \xc2\xb7 Direct unauthorized individuals who enter the warehouse to the office area. Communications: \xc2\xb7 Maintain open and clear communications with all owners, managers, and company employees. \xc2\xb7 Maintain open and clear communications with retailers, suppliers, and transport companies that conduct business with our company. *CDL license a plus but not required Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Night shift
