Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Supervisor to oversee our operations during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in retail management. This role requires effective communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage a diverse team while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations during the night shift to ensure smooth functioning of the store. Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising to optimize sales opportunities. Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team performance. Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate timekeeping and compliance with company policies. Handle cash management duties, including cash handling, cashiering, and reconciliation at the end of shifts. Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales. Maintain compliance with company policies regarding safety, security, and operational procedures. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on employee relations and conflict resolution. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, inventory control, and bookkeeping practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and training & development initiatives. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and upper management. Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed for store operations.
