Job Summary and Qualifications

NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT REGISTERED NURSE \xe2\x80\x93 FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT 7P \xe2\x80\x93 7A

RNs on our Level IV Neonatal ICU provide clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way care for babies who are premature, high-risk, moderately ill, require surgery, or have a medical condition as well as for the most complex and critically ill newborns. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• Organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for couplets and gyn surgery patients.
• Plan, implement, revise and delegate nursing care
• Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through education, expertise, and unit requirements
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What qualifications you will need:

• ADN required / BSN preferred and required within two (2) years of hire
• Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Current NRP issued by the American Heart Association
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment
• Must have at least one (1) year current Level III or IV NICU experience in an acute care hospital
