Your Role and Responsibilities
A New Client Acquisition (NCA) Brand Partner Specialist (BPS) means providing industry-leading solutions to help our clients meet their security challenges, manage advanced threats, and ensure compliance and privacy for all aspects of cybersecurity. It also ensures you\'re continuously developing \xe2\x80\x93 personally and professionally \xe2\x80\x93 to stay at the forefront of industry trends, and remaining as the trusted advisor our clients\' success depend on.

NCA BPS is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and selling IBM offerings through channel partners in IBMs partner ecosystem. NCA BPS will establish, develop, maintain, and manage relationships directly with clients & IBM Business Partners to meet sales target and ensure customer satisfaction consistent with company policy and objectives.

The NCA BPS specializes in driving new logo acquisitions that create organic growth in the defined territory by engaging with IBMers, partner ecosystem, and clients during the sales cycle. The role requires specialized prospecting skills, tactical territory execution, and ability to strategically map out engagement plans with all stakeholders. Additionally, the role is required to be directly engaged with clients conducting presentations, facilitating assessments, and guiding clients and IBM partners through the buying process.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 2-5 years of experiences of Software Sales Experience or related field.
  • Interest in developing a technology sales career.
  • A self-starter, motivated, and driven person
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to establish customer relationships that don\xe2\x80\x99t exist today.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to work well within a team
  • Ideal candidate should have a passion for Security Software technology, client & partner engagement, and driving revenue growth.



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise


  • Good to have, a sales experience and comfortable with qualifying sales opportunities and prepared to drive opportunities with the partner community mainly in growth and strategic accounts.
  • Have skills or experiences in project management, strategic communication, Partner or Client insights, sales tooling (ISC/PRM), and territory planning to manage activities with assigned partners (e.g., sales campaigns, lead pass, progression, enablement, and advocacy)
  • Focuses on Individual/Team/ Department Operational Objectives
  • Ability to recognize problems related to project objectives. Creativity and judgment applied to professional technical, or operational problems. Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
