Network Design
Job Description
TRC is seeking a Network Designer on a contract basis for a leading firm in Metairie, LA to support a national Broadband Engineering practice. Interested candidates should be team players and eager to learn. CAD experience and 1+ years knowledge of FTTX architecture design is a plus. Understands technical requirement. Demonstrates ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. Onsite work required.
Review rough sketches, designs, specifications, and other data to ensure they conform to design concepts.
Review field data to plan design.
Use schematics, technical drawings, and property records to gather information for senior designers and engineers.
Draft plans for the modifications to existing fiber plant or construction of new fiber plant.
Preferred requirements include FTTX Architectures, CAD design or GIS design, Autocad, ArcGIS Map, ArcGIS Pro. Experience in outside plant design and associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in drafting
