Job Description
Time for Partners (TFP) is an art & music program for children 18 months to 4 years (with an adult). Our Time for Partners program fosters creativity in all of us! Come enjoy the many hands-on art activities, imaginary play, and creative movement so crucial to early development. Classes are offered weekday mornings from 9:30 - 11:15 am. The music portion of the program runs from 10:30am - 11:15am.

Newton Cultural Development is seeking a talented and enthusiastic music instructor to develop and lead appropriate music lessons and sing-alongs for children aged 18 months - 4 years old and their caregivers. The ideal candidate would be able to teach and facilitate general music education and performance while providing a safe, fun, learning environment where all students can be successful.
This is a part-time contractual position, and no benefits are provided.
Qualifications:
Background in Music and/or Music Education Experience developing engaging music lessons for young children
Knowledge and understanding of early childhood development
Prior teaching experience at the Pre-K level
Enthusiastic, creative, and flexible Highly organized and self-motivated
Bilingual strongly preferred
