Montessori Lower Elementary (ages 6-9) Teacher

Seeking a credentialed and experienced Montessori Lower Elementary teacher to guide children ages 6-9 through dynamic, child-centered learning journey. The ideal candidate holds a recognized Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE) and brings proven experience fostering independence, curiosity, and academic growth in a prepared environment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team and support each child's unique developmental path.

This is a full time, school year position for Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm with occasional evening and weekend work for parent education and community events. Applicant must be able to pass background checks, and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Montessori certification (MACTE-accredited; e.g., AMS, AMI)
Three years in teaching in a Montessori elementary classroom as a lead guide
Criminal background check clearances required
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
