Overview

We are seeking multiple motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associates to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store while actively engaging with customers to promote products and drive sales.

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They're brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. This role is a learning role, where new associates are working with their team and proactively building skills and proficiencies, in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Expert. As a Mobile Associate, you will be required to successfully complete new employee training.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Upsell products by effectively communicating their value and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote sales. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone or in-store communication. Foster a welcoming environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.

Experience

6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment is preferred Familiarity with basic math concepts for accurate cash handling and inventory management is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer engagement. Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it! Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues. Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.

Hourly Base Pay: $19.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. $24.00 per hour starting total.

Within the first 90 days working at T-Mobile, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full-time status. All employees at T-Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
