Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collections at various locations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Your expertise in laboratory procedures and patient interaction will be essential in delivering quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and blood sampling in a mobile setting, adhering to aseptic techniques. Collect and process specimens accurately while maintaining proper documentation. Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during the collection process. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Conduct vital signs checks as needed and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure. Follow all laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate specimen collection schedules and manage patient flow.

Skills

Proficient in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and blood sampling. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and clinical laboratory experience. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to specimen collection. Familiarity with medical terminology related to laboratory practices. Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
