Parking Lot Patrol Security Officer

opportunity at a

retail

client site in

Somersworth, NH.

This role involves conducting routine vehicle patrols, monitoring the exterior grounds, responding to incidents, and representing Securitas with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity.

Current Opening

Part Time:

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay Rate:

$20.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Parking Lot & Exterior Patrols:

+ Conduct regular patrols of the parking lot and surrounding exterior areas using a patrol vehicle. Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized individuals.

Visibility & Deterrence:

+ Serve as a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior, provide reassurance to employees and visitors, and support overall site safety.

Access Awareness:

+ Observe vehicle flow and ensure only authorized traffic enters designated areas. Communicate any concerns to site contacts or management.

Incident Response:

+ Respond promptly to disturbances, safety concerns, or emergency situations. Notify appropriate contacts and follow established procedures.

Reporting:

+ Document patrols, observations, and incidents accurately and in a timely manner. Submit daily logs or reports as required.

Safety Compliance:

+ Identify potential risks around the exterior grounds and report hazards. Follow all site-specific and company safety protocols.

Collaboration:

+ Work closely with other officers and site personnel to maintain a coordinated security approach.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (required) Previous security experience is helpful but not required Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Ability to remain alert while performing repetitive patrol tasks Ability to walk or stand as needed, enter/exit a vehicle frequently, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
