Baton Rouge Machine Works (a division of In-Place Machining) is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Millwright Trainees. For nearly 40 years, BR Machine has been a leader in the South, producing the highest quality work. We specialize in large-scale machine repair, engineering, and manufacturing, and we pride ourselves on precision, safety, and customer service.


This is an entry-level opportunity with comprehensive On-the-Job Training (OJT) for candidates eager to learn the millwright trade and grow into a skilled professional.

Requirements


What You'll Learn Through OJT


How to repair, rebuild, and service industrial equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, turbines, blowers, and mixers.


Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and repair drawings.


Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling machinery.


Aligning and calibrating equipment parts.


Working with rotating equipment and precision tools.


Requirements


Education


High School Diploma or GED.


Experience


No prior millwright experience required--just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.


Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment.


Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
