Microbial Fogging Technician - 1099 / Per Job Pay

Up-Up N Away Commercial Cleaning & Janitorial Services is expanding our

microbial fogging & disinfecting division

and we are looking for reliable

1099 Independent Contractors

to join our team.

This role is perfect if you already do cleaning / gig work / trades and want to add

high-paying disinfection jobs

to your schedule.

Position Summary

As a

Microbial Fogging Technician (1099)

, you will perform professional fogging and disinfecting services in:

Senior living communities Residential homes Commercial offices & common areas Medical / healthcare offices Gyms, community spaces, and high-touch facilities
You will be trained on our

C19 microbial fogging system

, PPE standards, and step-by-step procedures.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role, paid per completed job, not hourly. Pay Structure (Per Job - 1099 Contractor)

This role is

paid per job

, not per hour.

Typical pay:

$75-$200+ per completed fogging job

Larger facilities and rush jobs may pay more Pay is based on: Square footage Type of facility Frequency (one-time vs recurring)
You are responsible for your own taxes as a 1099 contractor. Key Responsibilities

Travel to client locations in

Frederick, MD, Montgomery County, and the Washington, DC area

Set up and prepare areas for fogging (close doors/windows, protect sensitive areas) Operate fogging and disinfecting equipment safely and correctly Wear and follow proper

PPE and safety protocols

Follow Up-Up N Away's

checklists and standard operating procedures

Take before/after photos or videos as requested Communicate professionally with clients on-site Keep equipment and supplies organized and in good working condition
Requirements

Must be

18+

Valid driver's license

and

reliable transportation

Comfortable wearing full PPE (mask, gloves, coveralls, etc.) Able to lift and carry equipment (20-30 lbs) Comfortable entering residential and commercial properties Able to work

evenings or weekends

as needed (most fog jobs are off-hours)

Cleaning, restoration, or janitorial experience

is a plus, but

not required
