Job Description


job summary:
An MEP Coordinator is needed for a leading Construction Organization. The MEP Coordinator is responsible to lead specialized mechanical and electrical construction activities for mission critical facilities and infrastructure projects. The MEP Coordinator will oversee all contractors and vendors while efficiently managing schedules, budgets, and documentation from pre-construction to project completion.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years\' of commercial construction experience, with a focus on intricate mechanical and electrical systems. They should demonstrate a successful history of managing data centers or related complex infrastructure projects, possess expertise in project scoping, scheduling, change order management, RFI handling, budget monitoring, and cost control. Furthermore, interpersonal skills are essential, enabling them to maintain professional relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors. Candidates can approximate 75% of work performed in the office/ construction trailer and 25% in the field. This is a direct-hire role near Mesa, AZ, and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the specialized mechanical and electrical construction requirements of Mission Critical facilities, including data centers, and other associated construction endeavors
  • Oversee all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors engaged in the project
  • Efficiently coordinate Mechanical and Electrical schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation from pre-construction through project completion
  • Manage relationships with owners\' representatives, architects, engineers, and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors
  • Attend design/coordination meetings, industry events, as well as maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients/owners
