Mental Health Residential Counselor/FT/Somerset County

What will you do?
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supports consumers in achieving measurable outcomes to address new and ongoing consumer care
• Adheres to the Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Services standards (AMHRS).
• Achieves a high level of consumer and customer satisfaction by responding in a timely manner to consumer complaints and grievances.
• Educates and monitors consumer medications, observe medication logs, and completes monthly medication audits.
• Coordinates supportive services based on consumer
• Provides high-quality services in accordance with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).
• Accurately documents services in accordance with required timeframes with policy and procedures using the electronic health record
• travels throughout the assigned county as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mental Health, or human services

OR

• A combination of one (1) or more years of college, plus related life or work experience equal to four

(4) years

OR

• High School or GED plus four (4) years of related work or life
• Must have an intermediate level of computer experience with the ability to learn new computer
• Must have a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and an acceptable driving
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be flexible and compassionate when working with consumers
