Job Description

Job Summary



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Clinicians (LPC/ LCSW) to join our growing Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation Division. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy to individuals recovering from emotional, psychological, and cognitive impacts related to injury and occupational trauma.

Assessment and Treatment Planning:



Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the psychological impact of personal injuries on clients. Collaborate with clients to develop individualized short-term treatment plans.

Therapeutic Interventions:



Provide Trauma-informed evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from personal injuries. Utilize various therapeutic modalities suitable for short-term therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Crisis Intervention:



Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support to clients experiencing heightened distress. Collaborate with emergency services and other relevant professionals when necessary.

Education and Coping Strategies:



Educate clients on the psychological effects of personal injuries and help them develop coping strategies. Foster resilience and empower clients to manage the emotional challenges associated with their injuries.

Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:



Provide timely updates and insights regarding clients' mental health progress.

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans. Generate comprehensive reports as needed for legal or insurance purposes.

Ethical Standards:



Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in mental health practice. Safeguard client confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications:



State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor. Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Must be licensed in the state of New Mexico.

Experience:



Prior experience in the field of

forensic mental health.

Prior experience in short-term therapy, particularly with clients who have experienced personal injuries. Familiarity with relevant legal and insurance considerations is an asset.
