Job Summary:

We\'re looking for a passionate Business Analytics Advisor with a deep knowledge of the Medicare Star Ratings program. We\'re a Stars Analytics and Reporting team that loves to learn and push ourselves to provide meaningful insights to the business. Data Management and Reporting Lead Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain Cigna\'s primary Medicare HEDIS Stars Reporting
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports for Stars operations
  • Develop reports using self-service technologies like SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Report to stakeholders about changes to Stars measure methodologies and datatrends
  • Support the management of Stars data architecture, partnering closely with matrix partners such as IT.
  • Develop andimplementdatabases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
  • Work with management toprioritizebusiness and information needs
  • Support the development and management of version control workflows and processes, leveraging tools such as GitHub.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for other team analysts on problem solving and providing feedback and guidance on best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Data Management, Information Systems highly preferred or equivalent amount of work experience
  • 5 years or more work experience as a Data Analyst in Medicare Stars, specifically in operations and reporting
  • Work experience with process improvement
  • Deep understanding of coding version control best practices, GitHub workflows, and their application to analytics teams
  • Technical expertiseregardingdata models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using data science languages (SAS, R, or Python)
  • 5 years or more experience in database language including SQL Server and Teradata
  • 5 years or more experience in data visualization in Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Report writing experience in SQL server reporting services (SSRS)
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
