Medical Scribe

Our scribes are key members of the treatment team!

Medical Scribe

This position is

not office-based

. Rather, scribes accompany Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) providers on visits at inpatient facilities in their territory. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team with our field-based NPs, social workers, and physicians.

Medical Scribe Salary and Benefits

Medical Scribe Responsibilities

Interact with providers, patients and facilities Facilitate patient flow to ensure the accurate and complete medical record processing of each patient Assist the Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatrist by accompanying them throughout the patient visit, recording details into the medical records, and coordinating departmental resources regarding assessments, tests, orders and results Collaborate with care management providers to ensure a consistent, highly accurate documentation Drives physician to facilities & clinics Works in our outpatient clinic, supporting the front office when not working as a Scribe

Medical Scribe Position Requirements

High School Diploma required; LPN/MA/CNA preferred Minimum of 2 years experience in medical office/clinic/hospital required Must be a proficient typist with excellent communication and organization skills Ability and willingness to travel to healthcare facilities within a 2-3 hour radius of Montgomery, AL Must have a valid Alabama drivers license and the ability to be covered under IBH auto insurance. Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
