Mercy Clinic Health Information Service department is seeking a full-time Health Information System Specialist.
Overview:
Ability to perform a variety of technical and clerical functions in the Health Information Management department in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for assuring that medical records are received, filed, processed, scanned, analyzed, released, etc., in a timely and accurate manner to support patient care and patient billing.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Prefer minimum of 1 year of primary care office experience or 1 year of healthcare related experience or previous experience in Health Information Records. Working knowledge of medical terminology in order to be successful in role.
