Position: Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant



Job Overview:



The Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant plays a key role in maintaining the smooth

operation of our clinic. This dual-role position requires exceptional attention to detail,

professionalism, and the ability to multitask efficiently. You will serve as the first point of contact

for patients while supporting clinical staff with day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure

all interactions and tasks are conducted with high accuracy and within regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:



? Warmly greet and assist patients in person and over the phone, ensuring all interactions

are courteous and professional.

? Provide support to doctors, staff, and visitors, ensuring smooth daily operations.

? Assist with organizing and maintaining medical supplies, inventory, and patient orders

? Answer incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to

the appropriate department.

? Adhere to and uphold HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of all patient, provider,

and staff information.

? Schedule and confirm appointments between doctors and patients, maintaining accurate

scheduling logs.

? Liaise between medical departments with professionalism and discretion, ensuring clear

communication across teams.

? Accurately log packages/supplies

? Able to use technology (computer systems such as Square, Electronic Medical Records)

? Ensure adequate stock levels of medical supplies, placing timely orders to avoid

shortages.

? Communicate medical results to patients under the supervision of clinical staff, ensuring

all communication is clear and empathetic.

? Accurately document patient visits and clinical interactions to ensure comprehensive

medical records.

? Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment, including managing waste

and ensuring clinic spaces are tidy

Requirements:

? Must adhere to clinic policies and procedures in all aspects of the role.

? Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

? Willingness to undergo random drug testing.

? Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

? Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

? Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
