Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Office Manager to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the backbone of our medical practice and infusion center, overseeing daily operations, human resources, compliance, ancillary service and contracting partners, as well as fiscal management all towards delivering exceptional patient service. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the clinical staff in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses a strong background in medical administration with particular skills in revenue cycle management.

Duties



Supervise daily operations of the medical practice and infusion center Manage and help develop effective standard of operations in clinical and administrative areas as it pertains to patient care and operational processes Coordinate recruitment and hiring, on-boarding, and growth of all staff of the medical practice Engage effectively with referral and service partners Manage inventory and ordering of clinical and office supplies Effectively manage medical billing and collections efficiently by submitting claims, following up on unpaid accounts, and managing patient payments with attention to HIPAA compliance. Provide coverage in appropriate areas Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using various EMR systems; review documentation for completeness and accuracy while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with coding procedures by applying CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/ICD-10 codes for diagnoses and procedures to facilitate proper billing and documentation review. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries professionally both in person and over the phone. Support office management tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and assisting with billing audits or documentation reviews as needed.

Qualifications



3-5 years of healthcare management experience required BA in healthcare administration required Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic; experience with Athenahealth is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical billing and claims processing required Strong knowledge with HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulations desired Outstanding ability to work with ownership to advance the operational and strategic goals of the practice required Strong organizational skills, leadership potential, and ability to multi-task required Outstanding interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) a must. Candidates with clinical experience are highly desired
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
