Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Edmond Oklahoma. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks that contribute to our mission of excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records. Handle medical collections and insurance verification processes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Utilize EMR systems effectively for documentation and data entry. Assist with medical billing and coding as needed. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers. Support overall clinic operations to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience in a medical front desk or administrative role. Proficiency in EMR systems. Strong understanding of medical and insurance terminology. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Those with bilingual skills are encouraged but not a deal breaker. Familiarity with insurance processes and medical collections.
