Medical Education Program Coordinator
Job Description
To provide collaborative management to the Houston Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program and to ensure continued program accreditation. This role includes independent organization and management of daily program operations consistent in quality and content requirements as mandated by the standards established by the ACGME, the Family Medicine Review Committee and all related Medical Boards. In conjunction with the Family Medicine Program Director, develops and maintains programs, policies, and procedures that are consistent and compatible with the HHC policies and regulatory bodies. Coordinates the resident recruitment process through orientation, assisting in obtaining the appropriate GA medical licensure and credentialing materials. Guides residents with acclimation to the community by providing information on local resources. Provides support in budget and payroll components of program and facilitates the Institutional Review Board. Responsible for the development, direction, and submission of grants. Exemplifies and represents the Houston Healthcare values by being the liaison between the residency program and the organization as well as surrounding community.

Schedule: Full Time, 7:30a - 4:30p
