Applicant must be knowledgeable in understanding and implementing medical and/or dental billing tasks, including appeals and pre-authorizations.
Applicant must be able to utilize medical &/or dental billing programs, be fluent in utilizing other computer programs and be able to go online and utilize insurance websites.
MacPractice fluency a plus but not required.
Must be honest, discreet and a team player
Need not be able to code from charts as diagnosis and procedure codes will be selected for them
Salary commensurate with abilities and will be re-evaluated after 6 weeks and after 6 months.
This surgeon's office has 5 employees, which allows flexibility in hours, paid time off but medical insurance is not included
