Dominion Medical Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced Medical Biller/ Coder to work in our billing office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R . Translating patient health information into standardized codes, managing electronic health records (EHR), submitting claims to insurance providers and patients, tracking payments, following up on denied or unpaid claims, and ensuring compliance with regulations like HIPAA to get healthcare providers reimbursed for services. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring data analysis, in-depth evaluation and exercising judgement within the appropriate scope of practice. Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided

*1+ years' experience as a Medical Biller.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

*Must be former with The Allscripts software system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
