We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team In North Kingstown. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. . The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient operations within the clinic or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage patient documentation Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and answering questions Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Skills

Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks and EHR systems Experience in outpatient settings and/or clinic experience, Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications in areas such as PICU or OR experience are a plus Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and service excellence Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple tasks efficiently
