Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care within our clinic, focusing on internal medicine and supporting various medical-surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and patient service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols and regulations. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and concerns, fostering a supportive environment. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care plans. Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by healthcare providers. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and understanding of patient needs. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is highly desirable.
