The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening in our Huntsville, Alabama office for a Mechanical Engineer supporting the Integrated Force Protection Solutions and Services Line of Business.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical design and documentation for hardware associated with the GETS-1000 Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) system and associated Test Program Sets (TPS). This includes interconnect devices (ICD), interface test adapters, cable assemblies, and printed circuit boards.

Develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and alteration plans for fielded hardware.

Support manufacturing of prototype and existing production designs including tooling and documentation.

Monitor parts obsolescence in support of Procurement and Manufacturing.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Proficient with the SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

US Citizenship required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a manufacturing environment

Experience with test equipment hardware

Pay Range: Pay Range $53,300.00 - $82,000.00 - $110,700.00
