If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As the R&D engineer, you will assist in creating, testing, and maintaining mechanical subassemblies for Emerson\'s diverse range of products supporting both new and existing designs. You will assist in developing and coordinating the realization of processes, test systems, and overall production readiness for new products.

As a Mechanical Engineer in the , you will:

  • Analyze requirements and produce 3D models and accompanying drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Manage document change through ECN process.
  • Timely action on quality and safety related issues.
  • Functionally check and test designs to ensure conformance to specifications, reliability and quality standards.
  • Will conduct and participate in internal and external design reviews.
  • Interface directly and effectively with other departments, remote team members, and suppliers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering
  • One (1) or more years of relevant work experience
  • High level of practical mechanical skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant work experience
  • Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical degree is preferred
  • Working familiarity of CAD systems, FEA analysis, and related development tools
  • Strong competency with SolidWorks design environment
  • Knowledge of gas analysis related sensing technologies
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing in process and product improvement projects
  • Mechanical & Electrical background, troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems
