We also make it easy to apply. If we have your attention, please continue reading! Mechanical Drafter Job Summary: The Mechanical Drafter is responsible for the drafting/drawings of roller coaster and amusement ride mechanical systems. Responsibilities:

• Quickly and efficiently draft designs based on industry standards
• Work independently or with a team to complete complex mechanical system designs.
• Facilitate on-time and on-budget completion of large-scale drafting assignments.
• Organize system-level and component design reviews.
• Communicate mechanical design concepts and solutions through drawings effectively to a variety of interests (e.g. engineering, manufacturing and service personnel).
• Recognize and implement efficient practices for drafting large mechanical systems using SolidWorks.

• Certified SolidWorks Associate in Mechanical Design
• Certified SolidWorks Professional in Mechanical Design
• Completion of an accredited college-level or technical school design program.
• CAD proficiency with at least 2 years\' professional experience designing mechanical systems in SolidWorks or similar software.
• Organizational ability and proven attention to detail.

• Work history that includes demonstrated leadership skills.
• Certified SolidWorks Professional Advanced Drawing Tools
• Certified SolidWorks Expert in Mechanical Design
• Certified PDM Administrator Professional
