Apply today! Responsibilities for Mechanical Designer

• Prepare designs for Firetrucks and other products before completing technical drawings
• Sketch and draw up designs using input from other team members
• Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and manufacturability
• Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standards
• Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company\'s existing designs
• Provide support during the production process, ensuring that the designs are built properly and according to design specifications

Qualifications for Mechanical Designer

• 3+ years\' experience in design role or related experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Vast experience using SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
• Strong computer and mathematical skills
• Experience designing sheet metal and welded products
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
• Able to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits:
