We are a family owned and operated company that has grown into the largest independently owned and operated diesel and gas engine remanufacturer in North America. We have immediate openings for 1st shift Mechanical Assembly

• Engine disassembly: is a very detail-oriented and labor intensive role performed as a team. The position is responsible for disassembling the core components utilizing hoist apparatus, impact tools, air chisels, and hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers and wrenches. This position will load and unload the components into a washer. A lift/turn table is provided to assist in the disassembly process. This position may require lifting up to 40lbs. Associates must be fast paced and communicate effectively.

OR

• Final Assembly: Will utilize several types of tools not limited but including impact gun, torque wrench, gauges and hand tools in the assembly process. The assembly process includes bolting the case to the stand (rotate the case several times on the stand while in assembly process) install and align pistons, rings, rear planet, gears, pan, pump, valve body and other parts. An individual will inspect with gauges or other tools to ensure proper installation. One must be organized, attentive to detail and be willing to learn the processes of assembling a transmission.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience
• previous hand and power tool experience required
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
• Prefer prior mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment and someone who likes working with hands, tools to solve problems.
• Experience working on engines is a plus

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 1st shift 5am-2:30pm
