Job Description

We are currently looking for a Material Handler at U.S. Lumber to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will need a strong power equipment background. Operate electric lifts, cherry picker etc. Experience in supplying production lines.



Second Shift Opportunity! Start time 4pm.

Responsibilities:

Safely operates forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting materials Operate power equipment, electric lifts, cherry picker etc. Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or using air hose to blow off dust in tough to reach areas to ensure parts and pieces are ready to be painted Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec industrial saw Band, wrap and tape product as needed Must be able to read a tape measure Load trucks with finished door products per direction of Production Manager Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned

Starting Pay $22/hr based on experience.
