Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 3rd Shift at our Highland, IL location!



The hourly rate for this position is $23.62 per hour, and a $0.50 shift differential. The core hours are 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m, Sunday-Thursday. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:

In this function, you will:

Successfully operate rigging equipment to include nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars. Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution required. Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (i.e. fork trucks, cranes, combi-lifts). Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. No relocation is offered for this position. Only applicants located within 50 miles of Highland, IL will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Manufacturing experience. Prior overhead crane operating experience.

Availability to work overtime as required.
