Job Description

• Do you have 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience drafting press releases and pitching stories to the media?
• Do you thrive in event planning?
• Are you skilled in developing and executing a public relations and internal communications strategy across an organization?

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for coordinating internal and external communications projects, as well as division-specific activations related to Mantis Innovation and each division. You will also collaborate with HR to create and execute company culture events and happy hours. Responsibilities:

• Drive B2B public relations strategy to tell the story of Mantis Innovation
• Write and edit press releases covering stories such as project achievements, award recognition, event attendance, company acquisitions, and high-profile new hires
• Research and propose award applications in targeted industry publications or membership groups
• Develop a thought leadership strategy and draft byline articles in collaboration with experts, engineers, and executives at Mantis
• Identify, research, evaluate \xe2\x80\x93 and sometimes attend \xe2\x80\x93 tradeshows & events for divisions across the organization in the energy and facilities fields
• Create and host events, including: regular happy hour events, virtual events, an annual boat cruise, an annual golf tournament, and corporate-level internal events
• Leverage your skills in email marketing, campaign management, SEO, and social media to support PR and event management at Mantis

Qualifications

• Strong writer (press releases, blogs, newspaper articles)
• Event planning experience such as professional event support \xe2\x80\x93 virtual event planning a plus
• Public relations agency internships or experience a plus
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or English preferred
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, Adobe preferred

Salary Benefits

• $65,000-$75,000 DOE
