Job Description


This is a unique part-time position (about 10-20 hours per week, semi-flexible schedule) as a marketing assistant at a self-help book publishing and event company. Ideal candidate should be a detail oriented person, well organized, and possess strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Successful candidate should have: * Strong familiarity with social media usage, content creation, and current trends * The ability to draft clear and compelling marketing copy for books and events * Comfort with administrative tasks based in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Wordpress. * Familiarity and/or personal interest in the self-help field. Intelligence, critical thinking, and the ability to find creative solutions to issues that arise is highly valued here. Because this position allows you to work remotely the vast majority of the time, successful candidate must be able to work well independently and without constant supervision.
