Marketing and Communications Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Marketing & Communications Manager will be instrumental in executing and overseeing diverse marketing initiatives to promote our services, engage our target audience, create content, bolster brand visibility, and drive business expansion. The responsibilities will span across project management, client specialist support and integrated digital marketing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, therapists, and administrators, to develop and execute marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and educational initiatives related to mental health.

\xc2\xb7 Create detailed project plans, set deadlines, and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage project expectations.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Main point of contact with Marketing vendors such as advertising firms, promotional suppliers, print vendors, and media partners.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with events as needed.

\xc2\xb7 Act as a primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders, including clinical teams, program directors, and senior leadership, to understand their marketing needs and provide strategic recommendations.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with the development of marketing collateral, presentations, and educational materials to support internal client requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Manage and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, disseminate mental health resources, and engage with the community.

\xc2\xb7 Create compelling content for social media platforms, including written posts, infographics, and videos, to provide valuable information and promote the organization.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a compassionate and supportive manner.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PR efforts with overall marketing and communication strategies.

\xc2\xb7 Manage media lists, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact information.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in developing comprehensive digital marketing strategies, identifying target audiences, conducting market research, and leveraging digital channels to achieve marketing objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with planning and organizing press events, coordinating logistics, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution, as well as preparing press materials and documentation for distribution during events.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of email marketing best practices, experience in creating and managing email campaigns, familiarity with email automation tools, and the ability to analyze campaign performance.

\xc2\xb7 Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 6 years\' experience in marketing, communications, fundraising or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in a not-for-profit.

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in marketing & communications or another related field.

\xc2\xb7 Canva experience is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, be proactive and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in social media platforms and social media management tools.

\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and analytics.

\xc2\xb7 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
