Production Supervisor at a glance The Production Supervisor plays a key role in delivering business results and operational improvements. Additionally- this position is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations for an assigned area and shift. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Supervise operations for efficiency and safety. Ensure all regulatory- cost- and quality requirements are met.
• Promote development initiatives and continuous improvement projects as an Individual and team contributor.
• Supervise and provide direction- leadership- and support to team members. Develop and maintain effective organization with qualified personnel.
• Promote employee and labor relations within the department.
• Collaborate with production staff and upper management to solve production problems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (4:00PM - 4:00AM) 4 days on/4 days off work schedule
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment.
• Experience in leading- motivating- and mentoring large teams of hourly associates.
• Ability to excel working with a diverse array of personnel- from hourly employees to senior leadership.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to ensure consistency and accountability for my own and my team\xe2\x80\x99s results.
• Ability to traverse my work environment- sustained up to 1/3 of my working hours.
• Ability to perform sedentary work: occasionally exerting 0-10 lbs. of force- limited movement from my workstation for brief periods of time.
