Seeking Laborers for our Pre-Cast and Block Plants.

The Manufacturing Laborer performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to:

Duties

Be ready to work at 330AM or 530AM depending on location (maybe later depending on demand) daily and be able to work 45+ hours per week. Working on the production line, repairing pallets, housekeeping, and general laboring. Prepare concrete forms for pouring, pour and trowel concrete, and strip finished products. Clean, oil, and load forms. Operate miscellaneous tools, equipment, supplies, products, and forms. Use step stools, ladders, and scaffolds safely to perform duties. Post pour inspections including Concrete Finish & Hook Placement To be proficient at cutting and bending rebar for all shapes and dimensions needed for the precast department. Must be able to learn to operate plant equipment Maintain a safe and clean workspace. Complete and read vehicle/equipment inspections daily. Operate a forklift. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisors. Follow instructions from Production Supervisors. Follow all Safety Rules.

Requirements

Dependable, hard worker, mechanically inclined A High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift at least 70-100 pounds, with no physical restrictions. Safety minded when performing tasks. Strong attention to quality and detail. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Pass a pre-employment Physical Aptitude Test. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
