Job Role-Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)
Job Location -Durham, North Carolina

• Knowledge in assembly process plans & sequence to build the Aircraft structures
• Knowledge in Supplier specification plans for production and tooling methodologies
• Understand engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies.
• Knowledge in Installation plan, fabrication plans in tools like SAP-PP, CAPP/MES, AVL2 & APS Platform
• Knowledge in shipside support for Structural assemblies in production shop floor, Workstations optimization, Part prove-out
• Continuously review the existing assembly process and drive process improvements
• Knowledge in producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
• Knowledge in Resolving technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
• Knowledge in IPTs
• Knowledge in EBOM and MBOM

Desired Skills:

• 8+ years of work experience as a Lead / Senior Process planner in aerospace industry.
• To be in manufacturing engineering role, relevant experience in Aircraft industry is desirable.
• Aware of Planning tools, manufacturing execution systems like SAP-PP, CAPP/MES, Enovia.
• Working knowledge with any 3D CAD modelling software softwares
• Support & Lead cross-functional teams, developing and improving manufacturing/engineering systems, as well as driving Lean manufacturing events.
• Work as the liaison between internal / external engineering, materials, purchasing, management, quality & production to ensure that new products meet quality / delivery goals.
• Strong communication / influence skills to drive process improvements &resolve issues required.

Required:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering
