Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality service, managing staff training and development, and supporting overall business growth. Previous experience in hospitality management, culinary operations, or restaurant supervision is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise restaurant staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, food handling, and ensuring adherence to health regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, POS operation, and operational procedures. Monitor shift performance to ensure efficient workflow and optimal staffing levels. Implement management policies related to budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency. Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with hiring processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the restaurant environment in compliance with safety standards. Support special events such as banquets or catering services when required. Manager will provide shift coverage when staffing gaps occur. Develop and implement a marketing plan.

Experience



Proven management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector, including casual dining or fine dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, staff training & development, and shift management. Prior experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
