KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Strategic Intelligence Innovation Consultant to join our KPMG Ignition within our Growth and Strategy organization. Responsibilities:

  • Execute innovation consulting workstreams, working collaboratively with internal and external clients to identify emerging trends around business disruption, apply a design thinking methodology, and develop unique points of view to solve complex business challenges
  • Lead project teams to research and synthesize innovation research findings into macro perspectives and strategic insights; apply a creative, structured, and design thinking lens to develop perspectives and recommendations that enable forward-thinking conversations in client experiences
  • Leverage a range of research frameworks and methodologies to develop a deep understanding of people and social, technology, economic, political, regulatory, and investment trends
  • Design and conduct design thinking sessions to develop and present perspectives to clients, engaging effectively with C-level executives
  • Support driving Ignition\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Intelligence agenda which includes designing and leading workstreams to develop the capability, experiments to improve insights and client service, and iterating based on commercial feedback
  • Actively engage with subject matter experts and Ignition\xe2\x80\x99s Commercial Focus Areas to bring the right insights to clients and shape financial demand for priority solutions, clients, and markets, which will require an understanding of client issues and use cases across Ignition; serve as an ambassador for Ignition in the market internally and externally, developing thought leadership and working with go-to-market leaders to develop materials that promote Ignition and KPMG\xe2\x80\x99s approach to innovation and problem-solving
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in a professional services environment, background in client service preferred
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required from accredited college or university
  • Proficient across quantitative and qualitative research and analytical frameworks; expertise in synthesizing large sets of information, generating findings, and drawing out meaningful insights and recommendations using a broad array of resources and analytical tools
  • Ability to commands audience attention and has a strong "C-level" presence with the ability to interact, present, and summarize cohesive information to and for leadership-level executives, both internal and external; outstanding storyteller with the ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations
  • Understanding of design thinking principles, with experience applying design thinking to session facilitation and research
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders; strong coaching and mentorship skills, with experience leading and developing project teams in an agile and dynamic environment; ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
  • Travel may range from fifty to eighty percent at times
