The Opportunity: POSITION SUMMARY
Sephora Engineering division is looking for passionate, result-oriented, inventive software engineering manager who wants to build Sephora\xe2\x80\x99s award-winning client-facing mobile apps.
Imagine being part of a team that is handling one of the largest client traffic channels at Sephora. As an Engineering Manager, you have the opportunity to develop applications that impact millions of clients in both North America & Canada. Your focus is going to be on the Android client-facing mobile app.
You will have the opportunity to analyze the big picture and perform tactical decision making that supports the strategic direction of Sephora, IT and the Engineering team. You will exercise these responsibilities in compliance with Sephora policies and standards along with industry best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of Android engineers
• Mentor and coach engineers to help them grow their careers
• Partner with product, UX, QA and other disciplines to facilitate the delivery of new features for our users
• Own the delivery process
• Lead technical design and delivery on complex features and new systems
• Establish principles and best practice guidelines used to design and implement enterprise class solutions
• Contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability and performance of our Android app
• Proactively monitor, identify, isolate and resolve problems

• 5+ years experience developing Android applications
• Experience in managing remote teams
• Working experience with Kotlin / Java
• Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Agile development practices
• Should be a Team Player

PREREQUISITES

• 10+ years overall experience in information systems and technology

The annual base salary range for this position is $181,500.00 - $202,900.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant\xe2\x80\x99s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
