This role can be based in the NYC (hybrid) or Baltimore (hybrid) offices.

About the Team:

The Manager, Paid Digital Marketing will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of all paid media across the market to ensure clarity, alignment and measurement throughout all digital touchpoints and channels.

This role will sit in the Paid and Owned Media team, working cross functionally with the CRM and Analytics Team to drive customer acquisition and retention while delivering critical insights that will impact the full Go To Market planning process and strategy.

This role requires tight alignment with the Director of Owned and Paid, the VP of Marketing, as well as the Global Head of Paid Media, therefore is highly visible in the organization. In this role you will get be part of how we build and drive the vision for this team and will contribute to how we shape the future of paid media for North America and as well as the Global Media Strategy.

As Manager, Paid Digital Marketing Manager at Pandora, you will be responsible for managing digital activities ensuring that opportunities, best practices and learnings are shared and communicated across the organization. This role will work closely with the digital agency to ensure strong synergies between media plans and optimize across the different channels to drive day-to-day and long-term performance (TV, Digital Video, Social, Programmatic Display, SEM, and Custom Digital Media).

This role involves close partnership with GTM, Ecommerce, PR and Creative.

Your Role as a Manager, Paid Media:

  • Oversee three direct reports who are driving the execution of media in NAM. Provide leadership, guidance, strategic vision and prioritization.
  • Three direct reports are: Media Coordinator, Brand Media Analyst, Performance Media Analyst
  • Cross- functional digital management for US and Canada to ensure clarity, alignment and measurement across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Manage the media agency relationships to create strong synergy between media plans and optimize on multiple paid channels and activations to drive day-to-day and long-term performance (Paid Social, Display, SEM, Video, Custom digital partnerships etc.)
  • Work closely with the global team to align to digital and paid media strategy and measurement to ensure best in class execution.
  • Define and develop paid social strategies and innovative thought leadership as it relates to testing new social platforms that tie to overall brand objectives.
  • Work closely with our social and technology (Facebook, Google, SNAP, etc) partners to keep up with key trends, new features, and to ensure we are optimizing on each of the digital platforms.
  • Manage the paid search strategy and continually update messaging to ensure high quality scores and relevancy.
  • Understand and develop programmatic display, video and mobile strategies to ensure high quality ad placement and top notch performance.
  • Work with agencies to design and implement digital learning agenda for test and learn campaign plans to understand drivers of response and value.
  • Partner with Analytics team to set relevant KPIs and targets to measure against each digital channel and activation to ensure internal targets are being met.
  • Define clear digital strategies that will be used for store traffic drivers vs. online traffic drivers
  • Develop innovative strategies to drive store traffic through the national media budget.
  • Identify the segmentation and audience strategy on a promotion and campaign basis across all digital activations to meet goals and objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with both internal and external teams to ensure that digital is aligning with the goals of the organization.
  • Partner closely with GTM to ensure that digital campaigns are aligning to media campaigns and integrated partnership activations.
  • Create and manage the digital marketing calendar for a month-to-month snapshot of campaigns, content and imagery.
  • Manage, lead and coach team of planners and channel experts.
What is needed to succeed:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, science, or engineering.
  • Minimum six years\' experience in a digital marketing role
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Experience in Retail, Affordable Luxury, Consumer Goods, Beauty (omni-channel retail experience required).
  • Accustomed to working with many stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritize short and long-term tasks effectively
  • A good standard of computer literacy including the use of all Microsoft Office programs
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Enthusiasm, positive approach, energy and passion for digital marketing and retail
  • Results focused, commercial mindset and commitment to continual optimization
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented with unprompted follow through.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
NYC Salary Range: $111,800 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
