Job Description

Position Summary:

The Manager of External Outreach is responsible to develop and implement an outreach and event strategy for the school that aligns with the school\'s mission. The Manager of Outreach will collaborate with school leadership, administrators, and external partners to plan and administer outreach and school events. The Manager of School Outreach will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

\xc2\xb7 Support the Director of Outreach in the positive branding of the school\'s strategic mission through a variety of different platform mediums (presentations, video, written materials, website, social media and annual report)

\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement (with input from senior leadership ) the outreach strategy for the school in alignment with the school\'s strategic direction

\xc2\xb7 Manage all outreach and promotion initiatives as well as activities aimed at maintaining student enrollment

\xc2\xb7 Determine outreach budget and manage vendor and supplier contracts

\xc2\xb7 Engage with school administrators, teachers, and external partners to identify outreach events, develop agendas, coordinate activities.

\xc2\xb7 Liaison with the school\'s external marketing partner and public relations firm for graphic design, print, digital media advertising content and marketing campaigns

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with the school\'s Webmaster for publishing external marketing content on the school\'s website

\xc2\xb7 Manage community enrollment events and appearance schedule

\xc2\xb7 Manage the development, procurement, review and distribution of promotional and outreach materials

\xc2\xb7 Lead the school\'s efforts to design and adopt and school mascot

\xc2\xb7 Develop key outreach messages and ensure the school\'s brand is maintained in announcements and materials

\xc2\xb7 Identify feedback mechanisms and track metrics to measure the school\'s success in outreach events and activities

Requirements

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Education:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelors, public relations, or other related field

\xc2\xb7 Possesses all PDE required clearances for school-based personnel

\xc2\xb7 Experience:

\xc2\xb7 Three to five years of marketing and advertising management experience, including print production, marketing and advertising campaigns, branding, broadcast email, and social media.

\xc2\xb7 Three to five years of communications experience that includes conducting webinars

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in public or private school is preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

\xc2\xb7 Strong writing, editing, and verbal communications skills

\xc2\xb7 Proficient with data analytics and metrics

\xc2\xb7 Strong social media management skills

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of web-based applications and data management systems

\xc2\xb7 Ability to connect with a diverse group of people and build strong relationships

\xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize, multi-task, delegate, and lead by example.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of web-based applications and data management systems

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Must reside in the state of Pennsylvania

\xc2\xb7 Ability to pass the background checks required for all school employees in Pennsylvania.

This position could include limited travel and could include limited overnight travel
