Summary: Manager of Controls Engineering, This position is responsible for planning and managing activities of the controls engineering group. Additionally, the position is responsible for execution of technology development projects including, but not limited to: kinematic and dynamic modeling of robotics, control systems design, robotic system design, and electromagnetic design. This includes project scoping, task scheduling, staffing, and responsibility for technical oversight. The manager of controls engineering is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of controls tuning tasks and development projects while reporting to upper management. Additionally, the position is responsible for all controls engineering support for design, manufacturing, field service, and CIP activities at Persimmon.

Responsibilities and Deliverables: The Manager of Controls engineering is responsible for coordinating a cross-functional team:
Coordinate, develop and track schedules, plans, tasks, and priorities for the controls engineering group.
Support engineering teams to follow effective process. Promote communication between multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to coordinate, track, proof and finalize project documents as needed with minimum supervision
Skills Required: Controls systems design, Tuning of control systems, Kinematic and dynamic analysis, robotic systems, electromagnetic systems, algorithms and programming, simulation.
Experience Required: 5 years in controls engineering. Project and team leadership.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $150k to $200k. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, skills, job-related knowledge, internal equity, and geographical location.
