Job Description


Position Location: Split time between New York, NY and Secaucus, NJ
Position Summary:
The Manager of Facilities is responsible for managing the planning and execution of maintenance within the retail locations and corporate offices.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the facilities repair & maintenance plan and budget based on company growth and anticipated business needs
  • Maintains positive relationships and consistent communication with internal departments, vendors, stores & tenants.
  • Assists in maintaining service and operations of all vendor contracts and insurance relating to building systems including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, waste management, etc.
  • Oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by contractors, technicians, etc. performing building/store maintenance in accordance with needs of business, along with proper financial accounting & invoicing procedures
  • Supports Stores, Warehouse, Offices by analyzing/prioritizing work requests and being responsive to emergencies.
  • Supports Stores, Warehouse, Offices with purchasing programs including but not limited to office & janitorial supplies, canteen, printed materials, etc., along with proper financial accounting & invoicing procedures associated (i.e., budgets, good receipts, PO creation, etc.)
  • Management of all facility R&M projects through corresponding Facilities Management Services & Automation Platform (Service Channel)
  • Preparation of reports. (i.e., Service Channel service, spend, etc.)
  • Supports capital projects in partnership with Store Planning and Construction team.
  • Travel Program \xe2\x80\x93 user assistance & program troubleshooting

Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a corporate retail environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated experience of strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of SAP, Service Channel Platform.
