We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to foster a motivated team.
Oversee food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth service during peak hours and managing customer flow efficiently.
Implement training & development programs for staff to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
Monitor restaurant operations to meet quality standards, including food presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality services.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall food management to optimize profitability.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Support special events such as banquets or catering services when required.
Requirements
Proven management experience within the food industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
Strong background in food preparation, culinary experience, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and conduct interviews for new hires.
Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices for food safety and sanitation.
Hospitality management background with experience in casual dining or hotel settings is preferred.
Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
