Job Description


Provides sales operations support for all Cox Business Channels through enterprise-wide sales systems and tools functional thought leadership and standardization. This role is responsible for the identification, analysis, strategic planning, and prioritization of sales related current and future state planning requirements with stakeholders including functional enablement as the subject matter expert in salesforce.com. You will work with Finance, HR, Technology and Sales to develop revenue generation, channel optimization, new products, and other impacting programs to increase sales productivity along with driving efficiencies for Cox Business. The Manager of Sales Tools and CRM Effectiveness develops content, analysis and tools aligned with product and service business objectives. Manages the development and implementation of CRM initiatives and programs to meet business objectives and elevate overall sales channel/systems functional competencies.

  • Evaluates and recommends adoption of sales tools and updated sales management processes to refine, automate and enhance sales processes (i.e., contracting and deal automation).

o Partner with enablement stakeholders to drive CB Force Adoption

o Partner closely with change enablement owners to facilitate speed of adoption and competency.

  • Leads team efforts to identify and develop effective operational tools and methodologies.

  • Partners with data and analytics to resolve CRM data disputes and inquiries.

  • Provides operational and sales implementation support services to the entire sales organization which may include:

o Manages sales support initiative & projects to improve the effectiveness of sales force by identifying areas of operational improvement, performing gap analysis, developing & coordinating project action plans.

o Identifies communication and training requirements

o Provide requirements to aid the development of various databases to help communicate and achieve business success.

o Identifies additional non-CRM sales tools and systems that enable efficient sales and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Partners with stakeholders on strategic business planning and initiatives, pilot testing, implementing best practices and optimizing workflow to enhance performance and drive effective resource management to meet or exceed customer and business expectations.

  • Works with internal business partners to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.

  • Promotes positive work environment. Demonstrates enterprise wide thinking by collaborating across regions on special projects and develops, builds, and manages relationships with Center and regional peers.

Minimum
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related discipline and 6 years\' experience in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc.)
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master\'s degree and 4 years\' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years\' experience in a related field
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization


Preferred
  • BS/BA degree strongly desired.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role or leading cross functional projects preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.


USD 87,400.00 - 145,600.00 per year
