The Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Claims Strategic Planning and Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead its Cross Line Reporting and Data Strategy Team. This role has high visibility with GRS claims Senior Leadership and requires a leader with a background in operational reporting, data processes and proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences using data and analytics. This role will manage a team of approximately 15-20 employees.

In this role, you will be tasked with improving the reporting environment, and data used to support the Claims organization supporting North America claims. You will drive creative approaches to providing customers and senior leaders with powerful, actionable insights, high quality data, and an automated suite of reporting. This role will have direct responsibility for setting the strategy around data collection and utilization within the GRS claims function as well as providing thought provoking insights around business performance, staffing analysis, and yearly headcount planning. This role will sit on the leadership team of Strategic Planning and Analytics, as well as the Leadership team for Global Claims Services (GCS), as well as being the primary point of contact for reporting and analytical work from the GCS organization.


Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and continuously drives forward improvements in reporting. Manages projects necessary to understand granular performance of the claim operation.
  • Partners closely with claims field teams, claims practices teams, and analytics teams across the company to develop internal best practices and learnings
  • Develop robust benchmarking tools and performance insights for all lines of business
  • Responsible for formulating and monitoring the effectiveness of claims strategies and is accountable for reporting results in a fact-based, quantitative, and accurate manner
  • Identifies problem scenarios and devise solutions to contribute to overall profitability of GRS
  • Provides the reporting and analytics for monthly operational reviews with senior leadership. Delivers meaningful and relevant metrics and analysis, and drives continuous improvement of the process and quality of the content
  • Actively contributes to the overall strategic direction of the Claims organization, and is valued and respected member of the Claims Extended Leadership team
  • Develops and implements a clear strategy and protocols for efficient capture/maintenance of data, establishing repeatable processes to curate and distribute data to stakeholders.
  • Establishes and enhances partnerships across various groups including Product, Actuarial and UW
  • Oversees development of project plans, assignment of tasks, team execution, deployment plans and metrics for monitoring success


Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of data sources, tools, and business processes, including a sophisticated understanding of cross-functional operations and business drivers
  • Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling required
  • Knowledge of key industry, economic and competitive conditions, as well as the strategic and operational challenges facing the business as normally acquired through a master\'s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field and at least 10 years of relevant experience
