Job Description

Bay Street Biergarten is looking for an upbeat, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our team. We need someone who can lead our team and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. As role models for the staff, our management team works together to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer service. Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Implement and uphold restaurant policies and procedures. Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating staff. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service and operations. Foster a positive work environment.

Specific Responsibilities:



Completing Opening Manager Duties. Completing Closing Manager Duties. Meet weekly with BOH & FOH management team to discuss key issues, marketing, events, private parties, financials, etc. Communicate with staff regarding menu updates, specials, promos, protocol updates. Troubleshooting: customer service issues, staff issues, IT issues, etc. Expedite as needed, ensure that quality control is consistent on the line. Ensure that the staff completes cleaning schedule consistently. Ensure that bar and server cleaning/closing duties are completed prior to staff cuts. Ensure that BOH is cleaned and food stored properly at close of business. Table touching and customer interaction to ensure that customer service standards are continuously met and/or exceeded. Assist the management team with orders and inventory management. Assist the management team to improve and grow our beverage program.

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a manager or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrill in a fast-paced, high energy environment. Passion for providing outstanding customer service and hospitality. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Proficient in point-of-sale systems.
